Eye1st Vision & Laser Center
I am happy to announce that effective January 1, 2014 Eye1st Vision & Laser Johns Creek will become Georgia Eye Partners Johns Creek.
As part of Georgia Eye Partners, we will devote our full efforts to 100% medical and surgical eyecare. In addition to continuing to offer LASIK and cataract surgery, we will now offer ophthalmic plastic surgery, glaucoma surgery, and cosmetic surgery.
As part of this transition to medical and surgical eyecare, we will continue to accept all major medical insurance, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and Medicare. Major medical will now cover well visits, diabetic eye examinations, medical eye examinations, surgery, and emergency visits. We will close our optical shop effective February 2014. We will DISCONTINUE accepting VISION PLANS in the clinic on January 1, 2014. However, the optical shop will CONTINUE to accept vision plans until February 2014, for optical purchases. During this transition period we are happy to refer you to one of our network of optometric providers for eyeglasses and ophthalmic materials.
On a personal note, patients and friends have asked if I am retiring. The answer is no. I plan to practice for many years to come. Dr. Wolf, as well as the clinic and administrative staff, will also remain. The former doctors and staff of Eye1st Vision & Laser are excited to be part of Georgia Eye Partners and to be able to offer our patients state of the art medical, surgical, and cosmetic eyecare.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
James A. Stewart, O.D.
