New Eyes

I just had a cataract operation,
and I discovered several things:

My favorite green pajamas are blue,
my hair is graying more than
I really wanted to know about,
and this morning over coffee
I discovered that the border I put up
in the kitchen clashes with the wallpaper.

On the upside, my fridge isn't nearly as dirty as I thought it was.
